Raphael Raffel Designed Cognac Suede Leather Croissant Sofa, Newly Made in Suede

This is a 1970's, made-to-order, suede upholstered, Croissant Sofa for Honore Paris. Design is attributed to the famous Raphael Raffel (1912-2000). Raffel, who trained at the École des Beaux Arts, was a well-known interior decorator whose work was collected by the likes of Josephine Baker and other notables of the day. Each one of the original sofas were bespoke and made to the unique wishes of the customer. This one is a copy of the original sofa and in impressive condition with minimal wear and patina.
