Stunningly designed Italian Mid-Century, leather-wrapped stool or side table. The stool (which features a round, bowl-like, indented top) was manufactured by the illustrious Matteograssi company and is attributed to have been designed by the equally acclaimed Tito Agnoli. Agnoli was nominated several times for the Compasso d'Oro and has a selection of his pieces permanently in the collection of the MoMA in New York. In original condition with some visible wear consistent with its age and use.
