Amsterdam Modern specializes in vintage Dutch and European design, with a focus on Mid-Century Modern furniture, lighting, and household objects, all sourced directly from the Netherlands. Each piece is hand-selected for its craftsmanship, character, and lasting appeal.

Our 10,000-square-foot warehouse and showroom, located in the Hi-Fi district near Echo Park in Los Angeles, is open to everyone—welcoming designers, architects, set decorators, collectors, and design enthusiasts of all kinds.

While we frequently work with members of the trade, including film productions and retail brands, we also sell directly to the public and ship worldwide. Our inventory spans a wide range of styles—Mid-Century, Brutalist, Modern, Deco, Postmodern, Industrial, Space Age, and Traditional—celebrating both classic design and bold individuality. 

Most pieces get a little care before they reach the floor: light refinishing on wood, cleaning, polish where it's needed. Where a piece's patina or original finish is part of what makes it valuable or true to its era, we leave it as we found it.

All of our inventory is vintage. Most pieces receive some care before sale — light refinishing, cleaning, and polish where needed. Where wear, patina, or original finish is part of a piece's value or character, we leave it as-is rather than restore it. If you have questions about a specific piece's condition or treatment, reach out — we're happy to share more detail or photos before you buy.

All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges.

All measurements are provided to give a general sense of scale and volume, and are intended to help with space planning. If you require more precise or detailed measurements, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re happy to assist.

MEMOS & RENTALS:

All memoed items must be returned within 48 hours of pickup or delivery, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by Amsterdam Modern.

Any item that is damaged or lost while out on memo will be charged at full value to the credit card on file. Please note: if the damaged or lost item is part of a set, the full value of the entire set will be charged.

We occasionally host warehouse sales ahead of new shipments—these are great opportunities to discover pieces before they hit the floor. Subscribe to our mailing list to be the first to know when a new container arrives and is ready for viewing, and to receive early access to special events, new inventory drops, and more.
