Amsterdam Modern specializes in vintage Dutch and European design, with a focus on Mid-Century Modern furniture, lighting, and household objects, all sourced directly from the Netherlands. Each piece is hand-selected for its craftsmanship, character, and lasting appeal.

Our 10,000-square-foot warehouse and showroom, located in the Hi-Fi district near Echo Park in Los Angeles, is open to everyone—welcoming designers, architects, set decorators, collectors, and design enthusiasts of all kinds.

While we frequently work with members of the trade, including film productions and retail brands, we also sell directly to the public and ship worldwide. Our inventory spans a wide range of styles—Mid-Century, Brutalist, Modern, Deco, Postmodern, Industrial, Space Age, and Traditional—celebrating both classic design and bold individuality. 

Most items are offered in original, as-found condition to preserve the authentic charm and history that make each piece unique.

PLEASE NOTE BEFORE PURCHASING:

All of our inventory is vintage and sold in as-found condition, preserving the original character, patina, and history of each piece. We believe the marks of time add to the authenticity and story of our collection. Most items are sold exactly as we discovered them, without restoration or modification.

All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges.

Amsterdam Modern is not liable for the condition, function, or any damage resulting from the use of our products. We strongly encourage you to reach out with any questions regarding the condition or functionality of a piece before purchasing—we’re happy to provide additional details or photos.

All measurements are provided to give a general sense of scale and volume, and are intended to help with space planning. If you require more precise or detailed measurements, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re happy to assist.

MEMOS & RENTALS:

All memoed items must be returned within 48 hours of pickup or delivery, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by Amsterdam Modern.

Any item that is damaged or lost while out on memo will be charged at full value to the credit card on file. Please note: if the damaged or lost item is part of a set, the full value of the entire set will be charged.
