Gorgeous Mobach dark purple ceramic globe table lamp with cut out design, original socket and newer linen shade. Signature grooved texture with matte dark purple glaze and hints of army green. In good original condition with wear consistent with age and use. Signature on bottom. Mobach, founded in 1894 in Utrecht, gained prominence in the 50s and 60s, under Piet Mobach. The pottery is widely collected for its organic forms, minimalist, sculptural designs, earthy glazes and subtle gradients.
