1970's, Mid-Century East-German, VEB Leuchtenbau manufactured copper drop pendant with European black plastic canopy. "VEB" was the main legal form of industrial enterprise in the communist East Germany and stood for Volks Eigener Betrieb – Publicly-owned business. Made in the style of Tom Dixon. In original condition with visible wear consistent with its age and use.
