Stunning RAAK "Globe 2000" floor lamp. Light has a black enameled base and a telescoping tubular chrome stem. Designed by jewelry designer Frank Ligtelijn in the late fifties (although this version is undoubtedly from the 70's, and possibly custom made) it features a height-adjustable stem with brushed steel accents and a mirrored smoked glass globe shade with a red painted edge at the opening of the light housing. The beauty of this design is the ability to position the globe in it's ring to direct light in multiple positions. In good original condition (aside from a plug change to US) with some wear and scratching, as can be expected for its age and use.
