Set of 4 Thonet bent blonde wood dining or "cafe" chairs with floral decorated seat carvings. The chairs employ steam-bent beech wood construction, a revolutionary manufacturing technique developed by Michael Thonet in the 1850s that allowed mass production of furniture through industrial processes. The embossed detailing on the seats make this set very unique. Seats measure: 15.75”. Wear includes some scratching otherwise consistent with age and use.
