1950s Hoogervorst Floor Lamp for Anvia, Red Enamel

Floor lamp designed by J.J.M. Hoogervorst for Anvia Almelo features a red enameled metal articulating shade and circular base connected by a white cylindrical stem. The adjustable arm allows directional control while an original push button switch provides operation. Hoogervorst created functional lighting designs for Anvia during the 1950s that balanced industrial materials with refined Dutch Modern forms. Shows wear consistent with age.
