Extremely rare early first year edition of Mario Bellini's acclaimed "Le Bambole" sofa. Designed by Bellini in 1972 for C&B Italia. The company was renamed to B&B Italia in 1973. Beautifully aged by years of love and endless layers of conditioner, the sofa's thick, most likely Buffalo, leather was darkened to a unique, deeply rich brown patina. Piece has some visible and age-appropriate wear and cracking to the leather.
