"Amsterdam School" Pair of Arm Chairs with Wide Whale Corduroy Seating and Rope Tied to the Frames. The "Amsterdam School" was an exuberant style of architecture and design that was unique to The Netherlands, more specifically to Amsterdam. The movement emerged after the New Art and Art Nouveau schools, and is regarded as the highly original Dutch version of the lively international Art Deco movement of its time. The chairs are in original condition with visible wear, consistent with age and use.
