Extra long Mid-Century Gelderland four seater velour upholstered sofa by famed Dutch designer Rob Parry. Parry studied at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. After graduating, Parry started his own business. Until 1995 he designed interiors, furniture, stands, exhibitions, jewelry, lettering and toys. Various designs by Rob Parry are in the collection of various museums, including the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam. The sofa has new moss velour with down wrapped cushions and wood tipped feet. The legs are in very original condition and show heavy patina with visible pitting and wear. Wear is consistent with its age and use.
