Swedish designer Niels Gammelgaard set out to create a different kind of easy chair, one that could provide maximum comfort without the use of fabric or filling The goal was to be low-cost and easily manufacturable.This design, realized in 1983, was the result of a great deal of experimenting, using materials and techniques not commonly associated with comfortable seating furniture. In original condition with heavy wear, including some surface rust and enamel loss. Wear is consistent with its age and use. Priced as a set of 3 pieces.
