Set of 6 Martin Visser "SE85" Wenge dining chairs for 't Spectrum, 1960s. Visser began designing after being employed by 't Spectrum in Bergeyk, and by asking people to contribute to the collection, such as Benno Premsela, Hein Stolle, and Friso Kramer, he helped launch their careers. His designs like the BR02 couch bed and the SZ05 chair went on to become instant classics. These chairs are made of natural wenge wood frame with a gorgeous silhouette and linear curved backrests, handsomely inset with hand woven rush seats. In original condition with some visible wear consistent with their age and use. Set price.
