Rare set of 8 wood and metal Mid-Century Friso Kramer 'Revolt' chairs. This set has black enameled metal frames, teak stained plywood seats and back rests. The Revolt chair was designed in 1953 by Friso Kramer for Ahrend de Cirkel with a sleek style timeless design. The Netherlands has put this chair on their postage stamp as an hommage to their famed innovative designer. These chairs were refinished by their previous owner some 15-20 rears ago with remaining signs of wear, including scratching and wear to the frame as well as some chipping and cracks to the wood.
