A Raphael Raffel designed, 1970's, made-to-order beautiful cognac leather Croissant Sofa for Honore Paris. Raphael Raffel (1912-2000), who trained at the École des Beaux Arts, was a well-known interior decorator whose work was collected by the likes of Josephine Baker and other notables of the day. Each one of these sofas was bespoke and made to the wishes of the customer. This piece is In original condition with visible wear and patina consistent with its age and use, including some scratching. A light brown leather Croissant is also available.
