De Sede DS600 Ueli Berger Black Leather 26 Piece "Non-Stop" Sofa

The iconic De Sede DS600 "Nonstop" or "Snake" sectional sofa by Ueli Berger, Eleanora Peduzzi-Riva and Heinz Ulrich. This excellent example is in black leather and consists of 26 pieces that zip together with dark brown wool felt on the sides and back. When zipped together the sofa can be curved in or out to varying degrees, shown here in a half-moon shape apx. 18' long and 80" deep. In vintage condition with visible wear, including some scratching and some color loss. The leather has previously been overdyed black, and two of the seat cushions have a slightly more matte sheen. There is visible wear and patina, including some signs of paint loss and some cracking to the finish. Wear is consistent with its age and use.
