1950's Plateelbakkerij Zuid Hanging Ceramic Bowl with Abstract Design

Dutch-Mid Century, Plateelbakkerij Zuid made, hanging ceramic bowl with attractive abstract design. Made for the Dutch "Hoyng Jungerhans" homegoods stores in the 1950's. Hoyng - Jungerhans owned the N.V. Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland in Gouda, which produced pottery that has since been displayed in museums and is highly sought after by collectors. The 'Plazuid', as the factory was known, was a major supplier of Hoyng-Jungerhans' tableware and decorative earthenware. This piece is in original condition with some minor, age apprpriate wear.
