Mid-Century, long rectangular planters with banister hooks that allow for hanging from one's balcony. Designed in the 1960s by Willy Guhl, a trailblazing Swiss industrial and furniture designer, best known internationally for his Loop Chair. "At the center of my efforts, I put people and their living requirements.....I wish to enhance their immediate surroundings...People must find my products useful", and he never wavered from this objective. Willy Guhl worked with a cement fiber mixture called Eternit. This mixture may contain asbestos fiber, and should be handled with care. We recommend that these are best for outdoor use. All 3 are in similar condition with visible patina and wear, including peeling of the white over painting. Each one is stamped on the bottom. Priced individually.
