Swedish Mid-Century Espresso Glazed Ceramic Sconce by Sigvard Bernadotte

Designed by designer Sigvard Bernadotte for the IFÖ company in the middle of the 1960’s, this beautiful, Bauhaus-inspired example of Swedish Mid-Century design features a white opaline glass shade that screws on to the rich brown glazed ceramic base. There is a purposeful cut-out at the base to allow for an electrical cord to run in either direction, allowing the shade to point up or down. Another similar one is available with a smoked shade (L127 BC). Standard medium (E26/E27) base socket.
