Rare and impressive Dutch Mid-Century Mobach designed and manufactured ceramic floor lamp. Mobach Keramiek, founded in 1895 in Utrecht, Netherlands, is a leading manufacturer of high-quality, original, and creative ceramics, known for its fantastic pots and vases with unique glazing and a highly distinctive, timeless esthetic. Many of the company's pieces are considered a highpoint in post-war pottery and remain highly sought after. This eye-catching, tall, floor standing fixture takes 3 medium base bulbs, and has been outfitted with a US plug. The original shade was preserved, but new material is recommended as it is separating from the frame in some spots. Previous owner added brown linen tape. Base measures: 7 x 11 x 42.25
