XL leather snake beanbag sofa, designed by Hans Roebers in the 1970s, measuring 36 feet in length. Today, Roebers is mostly recognized as a celebrated multidisciplinary artist and architect, but in the early years of his lengthy and illustrious career he designed numerous avant-garde furniture pieces that have remarkably withstood the test of time. Though conceptually comparable to Fernando e Humberto Campana's Boa Sofa for Edra, this piece predates that more well-known design by a number of years. It is in original condition with visible wear consistent with its age and use, including some staining and patina to leather.
