Harri Korhonen 'Oskar' side chair for Inno Finland, 90's. Postmodern side chair with cantilevered back rest, salmon velvety upholstery and gray enameled frame. The Oscar armchairs were designed in 1989 by Korhonen for his company Inno Interior Oy and have been a classic of innovative Finnish design ever since. The chair's popularity is attributable to its winning combination of Korhonen's forward looking design in combination with a very comfortable “sit” due to the spring effect of the backrest. This is in original condition with some normal wear including some fabric discoloration and enamel loss - all consistent with age and use.
