French Mid-Century quartzite coffee table. This striking table has an elegant cat's eye shape and is attributed to Roche Bobois. Often misidentified as marble, the table is actually composed of quartzite, a much sought after natural stone. Marble is a relatively soft and porous material, so spills can easily cause discoloration and staining. Quartzite, on the other hand, is more durable and stain-resistant because it is less porous. This table is in good original condition with some visible wear consistent with its age and use. Several available in other stone colors (T539).
