Stunningly designed, Dutch Mid-Century, 1950's "Floating" rattan basket chair with a cantilevered, monopod metal base. Designed by pioneering Dutch designer A. Bueno de Mesquita for the renowned Rohe company out of Noordwolde, Frisia. The chair is in original condition with some visible wear, chips and scratches on the metal base as well as light wear on the rattan. Wear is age appropriate. This chair can be used outdoors under a dry protected and covered area. Other rattan and bamboo chairs are available and listed separately.
