Rare Mid-Century 'Ariadne' bed by widely renowned Dutch designer Friso Kramer for the Royal Auping company. This attractive bed features bent teak ends with floating nightstands on a handsome black enameled metal frame and is equipped with a mesh support spring. It is a stylishly designed piece that is lightly refinished, but we made sure that it retains its original condition and charm. Some visible and age appropriate wear including scratches and enamel loss - all consistent with regular use. Cubbies measure: 13 x 9.5 x 6.75. The bed will need a custom or European size mattress as it is not included - recommended size is 120x180cm.
