Set of four black lacquered, bent wood "Model 81" manufactured by the renowned Gebrüder Thonet firm in Vienna, Austria. Originally created in 1904 and subsequently reissued in 1987, these bent wood chairs with upholstered seats are an excellent example of the Art Deco movement's aesthetic sensibility and Thonet's peerless craftsmanship. The chairs are in original condition with some age- and usage-appropriate signs of wear.
