RARE First Edition Reform Tables by Friso Kramer for Ahrend de Cirkel
Friso Kramer / Ahrend de Cirkel / Netherlands
Dutch Mid-Century Reform tables designed by the illustrious post-war designer Friso Kramer and manufactured by Ahrend de Cirkel in the Netherlands. Made of high quality bone white folded sheet metal with a black linoleum top. Kramer designed these following the same principles as his iconic Revolt chairs and produced a minimalist yet highly effective and versatile design. Its clean, industrial and timeless design coupled with its strong structure allows it to be used as a dining, office or working table. This icon of Dutch design was crowned a winner of the prestigious Signe D’Or award in 1960. These are in original condition with a heavy, deep patina, including enamel loss, scratching and heavy wear to the thick black linoleum tops. All in similarly loved condition. Shown with REVOLT chair (S231 and Hala style task lamp (L084), both listed separately
