Uniquely silhouetted “cinched” sofa, produced in the 1980s by the influential Italian manufacturer Saporiti and attributed to designer Mauro Lipparini. This striking postmodern form is defined by its sculptural, cinched armrests and an elegantly curved frame that creates a strong yet graceful presence. Reupholstered in a sophisticated tone-on-tone Knoll “Topos” textile in the colorways Ink and Lowlands. Presented in otherwise original condition, with light, age-appropriate wear consistent with its character.
