Metal Cone Pendant with Amber Blown Glass into a Metal Cut-out Shade Creating a Glass Pillow Effect. Four Available, one with very dark patina on copper. Nanny Still-McKinney (1926-2009) was a well-known Finnish lighting designer who worked for prestigious companies such as Riihimäki Lasi in the 1950’s and later Raak in the 1960’s. She was recognized for her designs at the Milan Triennials in 1954, 1957, and 1960. Still’s colorful and delicate works in glass design continued to bloom in her work for Raak, as seen in this 1960’s pendant design that incorporates a carefully patina-d metal shade exterior that wraps around the blown glass bubbles.
