Giancarlo Piretti created his "Sistema 61" in in the 1970s for famed Italian manufacturer Anonima Castelli. It is a unique modular system that consists of cubic blocks that are easily and ingeniously reconfigurable due to the unseen steel components that connect each section and that provide unparalleled arrangement flexibility. This set is not only a stunning example of the best of Italian design but a wonderful example of combining comfort and adaptability without compromising style and elegance. In original condition with some age appropriate wear including waxy stain to one of the seats (pictured) that may be able to be professionally removed.
