Piet Zwart designed round white standing cabinet with drawer and marble top. Piece is attributed to Bruynzeel, 1940s. Bruynzeel, founded in 1897 by Cornelis Bruynzeel Sr. in the Netherlands, is a widely renowned manufacturer recognized for high-quality wooden products, including furniture, doors, and pencils. Originally a timber firm, it became iconic in the 1930s-50s for modernist kitchens designed by Piet Zwart (and launched its famous pencil line in 1948.). The company is still in business to this day. The paint has been touched up, and has been repainted in the past.
