Mid-Century white lacquered " AKKA " vanity set by Finnish designer Torsten Totti Laakso for the Swedish Asko company, 1960s.The company was known for their high quality pieces and this lovely vanity is no exception to that standard. The set consists of a vanity table with pull out drawer that has a deep storage in back, a tilting mirror and a matching stool. The mirror is 18 x 13.5” and is outfitted with brass accents that allow it to rotate 360 degrees. Its large drawer is perfect for storing accessories and measures 24” across with a 11.5” clearance. Finally, the matching stool has a furry gray upholstered seat and measures 14.5 x 14.5 x 18. The set is in overall original condition and has some visible wear consistent with age and use.
