German Mid-Century ceramic hanging wall vase. Designed by Trude Carstens as part of the "Bombay" line for Carstens-Tönnieshof in 1956. Ceramics in the "Bombay" series were all unique due to the glazing method with which each was decorated. All were completed with a small gold rim at the top. This beautiful, ahead-of-its-timepiece is in original condition with some age appropriate signs of its age and usage.
