Extra large gymnasium vaulting mat by Dutch manufacturer Janssen-Fritsen, produced during the Mid-Century period. The natural leather top measures 79 x 48 x 4.5 inches and is removable from the red enameled metal frame. Four angled legs include a mechanical extension system, adjusting height from 50.5 inches to 61.5 inches. The leather surface shows scratches and wear consistent with age and use. Gym mat has substantial weight.
