“Bird of Paradise” Triangular Leather Chair by Pieter van Velzen for Leolux

Early 2000's, Leolux manufactured, "Bird of Paradise" or "Paradijsvogel" chair by Dutch designer Pieter van Velzen. "Navigating paradise like a bird." That was Van Velzen's goal when he created this eye-catching and strikingly silhouetted armchair for Leolux. The handsomely designed chair consists of a detachable leather cover held by the three points of the steel frame. The triangular headrest similarly slides into place. It is in original condition with visible wear, staining, and a split seam.
