1980's "Gino" table lamp with white, dome shaped shade by Danish design duo Bjarne Frost & Ole Jespersen. Manufactured by the Nordisk Solar Compagni, Denmark. Founded in 1919, the Nordisk Solar company, over its long and still ongoing existence, employed many notable designers such as Sigvard Bernadotte, Preben Fabricius, Eva Koppel, Nils Koppel and Bjarne Frost & Ole Jespersen. This attractive light, designed by the latter two and in original condition with some visible wear consistent with its age and use, is a wonderful example of the company's strikingly forward looking output.
