Bruno Rey, Model "Rey Chair 33", for Kusch & Co., Designed in 1971

Bruno Rey / Kusch+co / Germany

This specific model, called the “Model Rey Chair 33” is designed by Bruno Rey for the German manufacturer Kusch & Co. around 1971. Bruno Rey designed these stackable dining chairs for modernist living. The sculptural bentwood frames feature his signature construction that uses metal-to-wood connections without visible screws, giving it a clean, sculptural look. These have a cherry stained beech finish with original grey patterned upholstered seats. The seats show visible wear and staining. Wear is consistent with age and use. Priced Individually.
