Mid-Century coffee table by Claus Straub pairs natural slate with solid oak construction. Rectangular stone top features rich gray tones and organic texture, set within an oak frame with curved apron rails. Four tapered legs with rounded terminals provide low-profile support. Beautifully designed by Carl Straub circa 1960 for the Goldfeder manufacturing company, a leading force in German post-war design. The frame has been refinished and hand waxed.
