Dutch Mid-Century daybed by Kuperus Almelo for the company's Vertifix line. Streamlined and attractive design with blue lacquered wood ends, mesh spring support, gray enameled metal frame. Frame comes with a new mattress, upholstered in Castro beige fabric. Despite being less famous than other Dutch mid-century icons like Auping or Artifort the Vertifix pieces are strikingly elegant with a "streamlined" look and stand out with an uncommon, almost industrial design. This piece, one of the company's most attractive designs, is in original condition with wear consistent with age and use. Mattress: 74 x 31.5 x 4. Two available, priced individually.
